Education Clubs & Organizations
Kappa Delta Epsilon
KDE is an honorary educational fraternity which promotes the cause of education by fostering a spirit of fellowship, high standards of scholastic attainment and professional ideals among its members.
Organized March 25, 1933, KDE is an active group engaged in preparing members for the teaching profession.
KDE is an invitation-only society. At PBA, a student must have been accepted into the department of education and have a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 in order to be invited to join. The KDE honor cords are highly prized at graduation time!
KDE members are involved in service projects throughout the year, such as reading books to children in the hospital and serving as ushers at graduation. Two of our KDE members have won national scholarships granted by Kappa Delta Epsilon.
